The mind is a twisted place sometimes and feeds us all sorts of untrue things, thank you for using your writing to process it, and trusting us to receive this. Your light always shines further than you realize, and sometimes I have found that those closest don't always show up for you.
This is very long but my really rough & unsolicited analogy for this is that you are the sun, and those close to you may love the light immensely, but they take a lot of their time away in the shade.. and those further away celebrate the rays, stand in them, even praising from afar. Those that are close have never even been burned by the sun, they are blessed to bask all day because the sun gives its light without end, but they just are used to it and know it will be there again tomorrow, so they just stay in the shade. They stop showing up to lay in the sun. So the sun naturally reaches out further, and those it touches, even at the furthest reaches, far beyond where the sun can see, are forever impacted by its warmth, beauty, and ability to make things grow. They show up with support, kindness, and all the things the sun wants from those that are close, as all of these sun-lovers are too far away for the sun to actually feel.. but its impact is still so great that if it were to stop shining, entire populations even unknown to the sun would be affected. (cheesy and verbose, yes, but you get what I am saying) Basking in your light over here on Venus, xoxo
Peace be with you my friend!
peace… and thanks for (always) bringing the real.
